Restored Mid-century Rattan & Wicker Hanging Cocoon Egg Chair w/ Stand

This beautifully restored rattan hanging cocoon egg chair is made from a solid pole rattan frame, with a reed stick rattan seat finished with heavy fancy wicker wrapping throughout and a decorative wicker crown arch along the top. The chair features a Mod-inspired ergonomic design taken from the pod chairs at the time and Paul Frankl's Rattan.

The chair is suspended by a chain from a metal frame stand that can swivel left or right and makes a stylish centerpiece for lounging & reading.

The Piece has been meticulously refinished to preserve the natural honey-color patina. Perfect for creating a warm, elevated tropical-inspired living space. In the style of Paul T. Frankl.
