Rare Art Deco Stacked Brass & Copper Machine Age Humidor Box by John Ota, Pair

Pair of matching rare 1935 all-original decorative boxes designed and produced by John Otar in California. These boxes feature individual triangular brass and copper plates stacked to create a spectacular, twisting spiral form.

They are both signed on the bottom, inside, and lid 'Otar USA'.

This is a significant piece of Mechanical Age functional design that is gaining increased appreciation by a wider public.
